  1. Copy backups to a different location in the Database Admin
  2. Enhanced emailing, with the ability to change the email attachment name from “published” report
  3. Set up statement emails on the 3-5 and 3-6 records
  4. Ability to merge clients & vendors
  5. Track certificates by job
  6. Record payments, paper no longer required
  7. Quick search ability in the 9-5 takeoff screen
  8. Change the transaction description and date in 8-4
  9. Sub-reports in 5-2-1 will no print with names
  10. Changes to 11-2 work orders and the ability to change the client and tax district as long as the status is “Quote” or “Work Order”
  11. Custom reports now differentiate between “Private” or “Share”

Sage is currently making a lot enhancements to the Sage 100 Contractor product. With the latest release on December 18, 2018, you will be able to sync your bank account with Bank Reconciliation in Sage 100 Contractor. This allows you to be more efficient in your reconciliations by automatically syncing and clearing items that have cleared the bank. On top of all that, here are some other features to look out for in 2019:

  1. Ability to recall and print previous final bank and credit card reconciliations
  2. Transfer funds between cash accounts
  3. Over/Under billings report improvement that now shows over 100% billed
  4. 9-5 takeoff templates will allow templates to be created for a takeoff
  5. Correct payroll posted to the wrong GL cash account
  6. Enhancement to the new spell checker

Sage is also currently in research on:

  1. Web-enhanced version
  2. In-product messaging
  3. Enhanced payroll security
  4. Multi-year payroll
