Q&A With Bangert’s New Client Services Director, Julie Pontell

As Bangert, Inc., announced this week of appointing Julie Pontell as the Client Services Director, we spoke with Julie on what she is looking forward to in her new role, what clients can expect under her direction, and what changes she hopes to make to the Client Services team.

What are you looking forward to in your new role?

I’m looking forward to working with all of the members of the team to put together a streamlined implementation process, and building relationships with our customers that last long past the implementation process. I’m also excited to see what our customers will do with new technology!

What are you excited about for Bangert’s future?

We are at the beginning of a new phase of technology, and have the opportunity for our team to work together to teach our customers to leverage the cloud to run their business more efficiently and effectively.

What are you excited about for your future?

I’m most excited about seeing how our team and our customers use technology to take their business to the next level.

What is the most gratifying thing about working with your team?

This team has so much talent, each of them has a unique set of skills. As I have gotten to know them and worked with them on different projects, I started to see how much we can accomplish if we combine our strengths to deliver a collective best implementation project.

What is the most gratifying thing about working with our customers?

It’s difficult to choose one thing. The days when I make someone’s job easier, when I can provide an owner with an up-to-the-minute work-in-process report, or create a report that replaces 8-hours a month of data entry; they all make it worthwhile.

What can our clients expect under your direction of client services?

Since my background is in construction, we are approaching implementation planning and execution similar to the way our customers approach a new project. We will begin by establishing the desired end product, outline the scope, build the right team, and then leverage technology to provide a transparent process that empowers our customers to know what to expect throughout the entire project. We also understand that software implementation is only the beginning, Bangert has a long history of providing services that take our customers to the next level; we will continue to grow these services across all products.

Are there any changes you hope to make or see in Bangert’s Client Services?

The biggest change will be approaching software implementation as a team. This will allow us to match our customers with the right specialists on our team.

Now that there is a COVID-19 vaccine rolling out and a COVID-free world seems more possible in the future, what are you most looking forward to post-pandemic?
